Update: Without warning, the backlight blew; for the same as it would have cost to fix, I bought an Acer b273hu (27 inches).The Viewsonic seemed like a decent monitor, but it died within one month of the warranty expiring.
I’ve had mine for about 18 months, no problems yet. Great for video, as for games my computer can’t handle full resolution on this beast but they still look awesome. Response time (3ms) cannot be faulted in an LCD of this size, almost as good as CRT.The speakers are a waste of space, and it’s really only 27.5 inches of viewable screen real-estate with the black plastic surrounding it.
dont mean to sound like a dick but the viewsonic is 8ms response where as the 22inch is 2ms response the 28inch has 800:1 contrast where as the 22 has 3000:1 so realisticly for gaming the 22inch wins unless size is something that matters to people

The Acer has slightly better definition; I have only had it for three days, haven’t given it a good work-out yet.

the 28 inch Hanns G is getting some bad reviews,I have a 22 inch Viewsonic which is perfect,next up,the 28inch,thanks buddy
