I do all my editing/rendering in Windows Movie Maker. For shooting video, I use a Canon S5-IS, SX-10, HF100, and Casio EX-F1 :-)

thanks do u use any polorizers or any thing on your lens to get that detail of the moon? because on mine even if the moon is orange it shows up white. and on sunrises it has a bad glare.

I don’t use any filters, but I do under-expose the image quite a bit which helps cut glare and boost color saturation. I also use max zoom and image resolution, then crop to 1920x1080p rather than downscale. Setting manual focus, white balance, shutter, and exposure are critical for getting good control time lapse results, although it’s a bit more effort. It also helps when nature provides good and interesting scenes – THAT takes lots of patience :-)

yea with my camera it cant set the exposer or shutter speed. i dont think? But me and my cousin started a channel on youtube just for nature stuff. he has been into photography for the past year or so and i finally got the camera i wanted for christmas since it was out of my price range and we have made a few vids but still need to edit them before we can put them on. he uses a the canon rebel xs with a 18-55mm 3.5-5 IS and a 75-300mm 4–5.6 lenses.

Many cameras (even budget ones for under $100) have a manual mode where you can set things like aperture, shutter speed, etc. Might be worth a peek at the user manual to verify :-)

if you want to see our nature channel it is RockyMountainMeadia. and for now until we edit our new stuff we just got one sunrise.
