Hello, My name is Ed Hudson. I had a TV repair shop back during the 80″s repairing VCR’s and TV sets. I got out of the buis when other opportunities presented themselves in the housing boom we had in Northern California. Would you say that with the LCD and Plasma type TV’s there’s going to be a new wave of repair need?
@slowhand221 Yes I would say there is undoubtedly going to be a new wave of needed repairs, but when the life of the new TVs is so short and price of the parts is often so high I wonder how many people will want their TVs repaired.
That is something that everyone should know. Thanks. I have read that these refurbished lamps last maybe up to 3-6 months.
