u kno ur videos are just gr8. but i wud like to tell u my prob. i have a SAMSUNG LCD and the problem is supposedly with the panel. the colors on the screen have gotten white. as in the colors on the screen hv just faded. is there ne way how i can fix my LCD
hey dave, where did you buy the device to check capacitor? thanks
@PhatQ45TT1 I’m using the EDS-88A Cap Analyzer Made by Electronic Design Specialists. Their phone is 561 487-6103I’m pretty happy with it and I especially like the tweezers style probes. I was told the Blue ESR Capacitor tester might be an equally good choice at about half the cost, and I suppose you could make your own tweezers for it. I hope to compare the blue ESR tester to my own one day.You will need to find their contact info on the internet.Dave

great repair tips! i wish u were in my area, u would for sure get my business…my tv just broke..does your magic book say anything about a samsung LN52A750R1F problems? my backlight and sound are the only thing that works
This sort of thing is impossible to guess at, but since it seems to get better after warming up you might want to see if it comes on quicker in a warm room. If so this would suggest possible bad capacitors.
cool videos, learnt a few things too, keep em coming. Be great if you done a course !!
Often times bad solder connections can act up from heat.Check out your inverter board.
Thanks for your advice but I don’t think it’s the inverter board. From what I understand, the inverter board powers the back lights, my lights aren’t the problem, 90% of the screen goes black with white lines/shapes moving through it. The light stays on continuously.
Your symptom sounds like its related to your inverter board. Best
